BEYOND SPECIALTY

Visit us

We’re in a peaceful, rural location but we are still very accessible. Limited parking is available on site – however we do encourage more adventurous modes of transport. The Colne Valley is a fine place to visit with numerous walks, cycling routes and public transport options including trains that stop in nearby Marsden and Slaithwaite.

The Mill

The Mill is a roastery, Barista School and community events space where tasting evenings, pop-up café days and concerts are a popular part of the local events calendar. We are surrounded by nature but also at the heart of a thriving creative community of bakers, brewers, cheesemakers and textile workers who share our passion for quality, craftsmanship and tradition.

Outside of specific events the Mill is open only as a Barista School and informal retail outlet for our coffee, merchandise and home brewing kit. If you wish to purchase coffee please go through the web shop, selecting 'Pick Up In Store' as your delivery option so that your order can be roasted and packaged in advance of your arrival.
