SCA FOUNDATION BARISTA SKILLS COURSE

This course gets you up and running with all the key skills you need to operate your espresso machine, from setting your grinder for perfect espresso extraction, foaming and texturing your milk for the full range of café drinks, through to basic equipment care and maintenance.
It is the first step on the SCA Barista Skills programme, the world's only internationally recognised coffee skills qualification. More information about either this course or the SCA can be found here – sca.coffee
The day includes a practical assessment and online written examination. Lunch is included in your course fee so please contact our Head of Training Tom with any dietary preferences or intolerances – tom@darkwoodscoffee.co.uk

Further information on your course:
Disability access
Our mill has no steps to access it and has flat floor surface throughout the training / café area, as well as parking outside on the
same level.
We have two disabled toilets, both with grab rails and drop-down handrails, one toilet is designed for full wheelchair access. Both toilets have an emergency pull cord.
For training purposes: The espresso machines are set on counters at approx. 9050mm height, although we can make accommodations for a lower set machine if required, with prior warning.

Cancellation policy
