Golden Fork Nominee! El Placer ‘Yellow Fruits’ scooped a 3-star Great Taste Award earlier this month, and, as one of this year’s highest-scoring products, has been nominated for a coveted Golden Fork the highest accolades in the food and drink world.

14,195 products were entered into this year’s Great Taste Awards and put through the competition’s rigorous blind judging process. Yellow Fruits was praised by judges to be “An extraordinary aroma of tropical fruits,” and was one of only 248 products to receive a Three-star Great Taste award in 2023.

Described as “A massive fruity punch on the nose”, this Colombian coffee was a big hit with the Great Taste judges. Yellow Fruits is produced from Caturra Arabica beans by Sebastian Ramirez and his El Placer farm team, based in Calarca, Quindio. Sebastian is a true coffee pioneer, at the top of his game right now, crafting complex, yet delicious and drinkable coffees.
