It’s a pleasure to be a part of the Colne Valley’s ever-changing industrial and craft heritage. The climate and terrain of the valley shaped the early years of its history and now the landscape and weather-beaten weavers cottages and mills house a growing community of artisan and craft producers, supported by a network of independent, specialist outlets.

Pop Up Cafe 9.30am to 3.00pm

The last Saturday of each month, during the summer and autumn we run our pop-up cafe days at the mill. We serve our fantastic coffees, teas and hot chocolate and an array of beautiful, tasty, cakes, pastries and pies by local craft producers. Outside, in our woods, Roaming Rumpus are serving hot food from their mobile, gourmet kitchen, whilst next door, Zapato Micro Brewery will open up their tap room for the best in local craft beers. Walkers, cyclists are welcome and the mill is fully accessible for wheelchairs. Dogs are welcome in our outside seating areas (we can't allow them inside as we are a food production site I'm afraid). More information in our blog article.

Introduction to Coffee Evening

Come and join us on to learn about the world of coffee. The evening kicks off with a welcome drink and then guides you through understanding your bean. Learn how your coffees flavour is influenced by species, variety and origin.
See the roaster in action, do a tasting (?cupping?); learn some vital steps for getting the best from your beans at home and go home with a bag of beans to enjoy at home.
